Cait Henneberry (b. 1997, North Carolina) is an artist-educator making abstract, mixed media art about bodies and fear. She started her artistic journey in early childhood, painting and drawing whenever she had the chance. Her art practice developed through high school when she decided she’d pursue a career in teaching. She received a BFA of Art Education with an emphasis in Painting from Belmont University in 2015, and she has taught in school and museum settings. Getting a glimpse of the world through her students’ eyes has been a constant source of inspiration.

Cait is currently based in Nashville, TN where she teaches 6th-8th grade Visual Art, works as a teaching artist at the Frist Art Museum, and makes abstract sculptures as a graduate student of Art Education at Teachers College, Columbia University.
